Home Groups

A great way to get connected at RGBC is to join a Home Group. It's through our Home Groups that you will establish meaningful relationships, grow in God's Word, and be encouraged to serve others.

Home Groups

We believe that our Home Groups help facilitate three important rhythms of walking in Christ

Grow
Grow

Home Groups encourage believers to gather around the study of God’s Word. Each group studies the Bible for understanding and application.

Connect
Connect

Since Christians are called to live in community Home Groups are a great place to grow deep and meaningful relationships. These groups will provide natural opportunities to live out the “one another’s”.

Serve
Serve

Each Home Group strives to serve the community in a practical ways. We consider our home groups to be a type of “mission outpost” wherever it meets in the community.

Here are some friendly reminders to consider when signing up for a home group this fall:

Commitment: Please only sign up if you are planning to faithfully attend the group.

Reserving a Spot: Please only sign up for the number of your household that will be attending each week.  For example, if you and your spouse have children and will be alternating weeks to attend, only sign up for one spot.

Children: Please be mindful that some groups can become overcrowded with kiddos and parents may need to alternate weeks.  Check with your home group host if you have any questions.

Family Home Groups

It can be challenging for young families to attend activities later in the evening. With this in mind, we are excited to introduce Family Home Groups this ministry year.

Family Home Groups are geared for our families here at RGBC and provide a flexible structure to accommodate young children. Groups will meet earlier in the evening and be composed of both fellowship meals and designated times for men and women to gather together.

These groups will consist of four families, hopefully in the similar geographical area. The suggested structure for the group would be:

  • Two weeks of fellowship meals
  • One week where dads meet for Bible study and prayer
  • One week where moms meet for Bible study and prayer
  • Can rotate host homes or have a consistent meeting place
  • Earlier start times for fellowship meals (5:30pm) & later start time for men’s and women’s gathering (7:00pm), exact times can be set up by each group

If you would like to participate in a Family Home Group, you can provide your information in person at Connect Sunday, August 24 after the worship service. Online sign-ups here will open that same evening.
