March Monthly Giving Update

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.“

This past week has been an exciting week in the space world. The Artemis II space shuttle successfully launched into earth’s orbit and is traveling around the moon as I type. The excitement is palpable and it is fun to watch kids and adults alike get excited about space travel.  Historical events like these can be tempting to say “We did it! Look at what we can do!”  While accomplishments like this are amazing feats of engineering and ingenuity, it should direct our eyes to the Lord. God made the heavens and the earth along with all creation. This creation sings his praise.

Here at Redeeming Grace we are experiencing high attendance. Our sanctuary is nearing capacity on a weekly basis. It is easy for us to look at the full sanctuary and say “We did it! Look at what we can do!” However, this should also be turning our eyes to the Lord. God has built his church here in Callaway, Maryland. May we never cease to sing his praise.
