Highlights of 2025

Katie Hutchison   -

God was gracious to Redeeming Grace this year. It has been fun to see God pour out blessings on his people through our ministries. Together as the body of Christ, we have been able to worship God in beautiful ways and share God’s love with one another and the world!

In January, our church celebrated 10 years as a church! We had a huge party to celebrate what God has done.

In February, we sent an additional medical missions trip to Guatemala.

In March, the women’s ministry held their first skills sharing weekend. It was a huge hit!

April saw disaster relief training and a staff retreat. We also celebrated Easter.

In May, we hosted the first wedding at RGBC along with sending a disaster relief trip.

June kicked off our summer programs including several Book Studies and a missions trip to Guatemala. We also held our first ever Vacation Bible School.

In July, summer book studies continued and the Men’s Ministry held a prayer breakfast.

In August, we sent another team to assist in Missions Week in Leicester, UK. We also hosted Connect Sunday to kick off the new ministry year.

September started weekly meetings of new Home Groups, Equip Classes, Steps, RGBC Youth and Maryland Christian Co-op.

In October, we had a very successful church-wide picnic. We also hosted a large area youth event called, Disciple Now.

November had Winter Coat and Food Drives and Operation Christmas Child collection. We also celebrated two baptisms.

In December, we rounded out the year with several Christmas parties, culminating in our Christmas Eve Service. We also hosted the WARM ministry for the first time.

Wow — I’m nearly exhausted just listing these highlights. Of course, this isn’t an exhaustive list of all the ministry that took place this year! Our church has labored well in 2025. I am looking forward to the new and returning ministries in 2026!
